What is the Journey to Wholeness in Christ
The Journey to Wholeness in Christ is the name of the seminar led by Conlee and Signa Bodishbaugh. It is the out-reach healing ministry of Christ Church, Mobile, Alabama. These seminars, held several times a year in various venues, both nationally and internationally, present the tools and opportunities for each participant to experience the deep-heart healing power of the Spirit of God. This occurs through biblically-based teaching, Spirit-filled worship, personal testimony, group ministry and the individual ministry of the Journey Prayer Team.
Although focusing almost exclusively on personal wholeness, the fruit of a Journey seminar consistently has proven to be an extremely valuable evangelism tool. When the root causes of one's chronic problems, apathy or fears are named and exposed to the Light of Christ, the healing and regeneration of the soul can then occur by the power of the Spirit. In this healing, one's defensive barriers, inordinate neediness, or even passivity can fall away so completely that it is hard to keep the healed one silent, so great is his/her desire to rejoice with others about the healing love of Jesus Christ. And thus, the message of the Gospel goes forth with much enthusiasm!
A Journey is a vehicle to enable each of us to enter more fully into our baptismal vows and joyfully experience the fruit of our covenant with Jesus Christ.
In addition to the seminars The Journey to Wholeness in Christ is the title of a book by Signa Bodishbaugh. Originally published by Baker Books in 1997, it is now in its fifth printing by Journey Press. This widely-acclaimed book is a powerful vehicle for the healing principles of a Journey seminar to continue daily in one's life. Written in a conversational style the book takes the reader through biblical and personal examples of such milestones in life as:
