Planned Giving

As Christians we believe that all that has been given to us is from God, to be used according to His purposes. Furthermore, Scripture advises that families are to be cared for in the future by careful planning. This same type of planning can be used to benefit the work of the Church. The Book of Common Prayer (p.445) references "the duty... of all persons to make wills, while they are in health, arranging for the disposal of their temporal goods, not neglecting, if they are able, to leave bequests for religious and charitable uses." Christ Church's Planned Giving program seeks to make available tools and information that will help individuals and families with this goal.

The Planned Giving Team will guide and implement this program. With the complexity of many wonderful tools (e.g. wills, charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities, life insurance policies, etc.) there is a particular need for attorneys, accountants, trust officers, life underwriters, financial planners, etc., to assist in this effort.
