Mission Statement

The purpose of Christ Anglican Church is summed up in our Vision Statement:

"Transforming Lives Through Jesus Christ"

How we endeavor to implement that Vision is spelled out in our Mission Statement:

MISSION STATEMENT OF

CHRIST ANGLICAN CHURCH

Christ Anglican Church is called to be a Great Commandment/Great Commission faith community among whom Jesus is Lord and in which every member is being equipped as a minister to further the Kingdom of God in the power of the Holy Spirit by:

Worshiping God with our whole heart, body and mind through:

joining together regularly for Christ-centered worship;

accepting one another and encouraging all ages to have vibrant life relationships with God;

personal devotions and study;

intentionally supporting one another in loving relationships; and

renouncing by our actions any vestiges of sin in our lives.

Providing a place for healing of the human spirit, soul and body by offering the ministries of:

forgiveness and reconciliation;

wholeness within our church family, this community and wherever God calls us; and

healing prayer with the laying on of hands.

Standing firmly, boldly and lovingly for Biblical Truth and the principles of the Christian faith in our:

individual lives;

preaching and teaching; and

public witness within the community, the Church and the world at large.

Reaching out to others in the Saving Name of Jesus Christ by:

intentional evangelism to the hurting and the lost;

graciously welcoming all others into the midst of this faith community;

supporting and serving in fruitful outreach endeavors;

sponsoring hands-on outreach carried out by our members;

interceding for and working toward Christian unity and spiritual renewal in the Mobile area; and

sending out into the world members who are equipped to minister asambassadors for Christ.
