Internationals Ministry
Christ Anglican church is committed to helping some of the international refugee families, students, and immigrants who find their way to our city. Partnering with the local Refugee Resettlement Office, we have welcomed and/or assisted in various ways many different families and individuals from Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe since our first "adopted" refugee family arrived in 2000. Many of these people have entered into our church life on various levels.
Involvement with Internationals Ministry may include providing transportation (to church activities, shopping, etc.), English language classes, budgeted financial assistance, donations for setting up households, and Christmas Angel Tree gifts. Friendship with these families is a rich experience, and a wonderful way to express God's love. Opportunities also exist for welcoming international students into our homes.
