CD Ministry

While sermons and teachings are available on the web site for listening and download, there is still a steady need for reproduction of sermon and teaching ministry CDs at Christ Church. Some of these are sent to people who are unable to attend services (like our Children's Church ministers or those who are homebound) or to people who have moved away and still want to participate in the ministry of Christ Church. There are also a regular number of requests by people who want to share with others CDs which have been helpful to them.

A library of master CDs & tapes is kept in the Sound Booth, where a computer and printer are used to make CD labels and mailing labels as required. Requests for CDs are called in to the Church Office or written requests are left at the front desk or in the offering basket, and generally once a week all the needed material is duplicated. At present we have a 4-copy cd duplicator and a 7-copy tape duplicator available, which is helpful when large sets are needed. CDs are picked up at the church office for a charge of $2.00 or mailed for $3.00. CDs, cases, CD and mailing labels, etc. are ordered by the office when necessary.

This ministry would like to have an extra worker or two to share the load and cover busy times. If you would like to be trained and would be willing to give help as needed, your support would be most welcome.
